MCM Expo: This Weekend

(Spiralling collection cover)

It's that time again for T'sao Wei and myself to pack our bags full of comic things and hop on the buses toward London's MCM Expo. I'll be there on Friday through to Sunday with Wei joining me from Saturday onwards.

Here's what I'll be bringing along:

• Mini Petunia Rascal issue 1, Find out what happens when Petunia and her crew take some time off and visit a theme park.
• Spiralling issue one, Forty pages of askew entanglement in full colour.
• Set of four postcards featuring Spiralling and Coldharbour characters.

I'll also have Neon Loneliness, Petunia Rascal, and a set of Petunia Rascal badges.

You can now read the first four pages of Upstream/Downstream on Spiralling. It's a dangerous canal side walk of a comic. To be concluded next Friday.

Brain Partings

The last bit of Brainworm is now ready for reading on Spiralling. Below is an unlettered, uncoloured, straight off the drawing board sneak peek of Doll Parts which will begin serialisation next week.

There it Blows

It's the penultimate installment of Brainworm this week and a very messy one it is too.

Bit by Bite

More cloud creature torment in the next installment of Brainworm.

Brainworm Pt 3

The Demon Agent takes up smoking as Brainworm continues.

Brainworm Continues

Three more pages of Brainworm are up on Spiralling. They call him mellow yellow. For now at least.

Spiralling/Brainworming

Spiralling, my new web comic over on Smackjeeves, is going to be a home for short, slightly off-kitler comics. The first of these, Brainworm, is about an agent of evil who enters the mind of a dying man to cause some serious grief.

Following that, a few weeks later, will be the start of Doll Parts a story of two segmented lovers and the masked hunter after them.
