Thought Bubble: This Weekend!

NEW COMICS!!

This weekend (17th-18th Nov) I'll be at the Thought Bubble Festival Leeds with T'sao Wei. We're in the Royal Armouries Hall at table 69, dudes!  Wei will have new printings of Windrush.  

As for myself I will have not one but two new comics. First is a printed edition of The Black Hand Clan, a recent webcomic I co-created by Thuc-Chinh To. For this printed version I reworked some of the pages and added a couple of extras.

My second comic is Mid Nights. The comic is my take on the Magical Girl genre and features two short connected stories with bad dreams and bad bubblegum but no talking cats or men in top hats & tuxedos.

A couple of fan art pieces.

Next is Shade the Changing Man. Shade went through a multitude of looks (and bodies) throughout his book. This is the Hotel Shade era version.

In comics news *shuffles papers*: The Black Hand Clan is now complete on Spiralling. A print version with bonus material will be coming soonish.

Tenderbox-remix

Re-coloured version of the Tenderbox strip that appeared on Spiralling.

So what's been going on lately? Quite a bit in fact.

First off, a two page comic entitled We Three at Sea by T'sao Wei and myself was part of this years Adventures in Comics 2 exhibition and its companion anthology.  You can see our strip on the Marine Studios Blog.

T'sao Wei was at the London Super Comic Convention last weekend with the début of his new series, Windrush.   Here's a preview (minus lettering) and below are the front and back covers that I did the colours for.

Also in Windrush is a promo image for a new Spiralling short that I'm working on.
 

The first page should be up within a couple of weeks.
